These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of mcuiep.shop, including all purchases made through our online store.

Throughout these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance Company of Europe SE, Niederlassung Deutschland, operating the online store mcuiep.shop. “You” and “customer” refer to any person who accesses the website, creates an account or purchases a product from us.

By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Return and Refund Policy.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any mandatory rights granted to consumers under Hungarian or European Union law.

2. Scope of These Terms

These Terms apply to:

• Visitors to mcuiep.shop;

• Customers purchasing products through the website;

• Registered customer-account holders; and

• Other users of our website and services.

Additional terms displayed on a product page, at checkout or in a written agreement may apply to a particular purchase.

If there is a conflict, mandatory consumer law and the more specific product or order terms will take priority.

• Accessories; and

• Other technical specifications.

The exact features, package contents, dimensions, specifications and operating requirements applicable to your order are those displayed on the relevant product page when the order is placed.

5. Product Images and Descriptions

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, dimensions, colours, specifications and package contents are accurate.

Images may appear slightly different because of:

• Screen settings;

• Lighting;

• Product manufacturing updates;

• Packaging changes;

• Camera perspective; or

• Minor production variations that do not affect the product’s essential functions.

We offer free standard delivery throughout Hungary unless a product page or checkout clearly states otherwise.

You will not be required to pay charges that were not disclosed before you placed the order.

7. Obvious Pricing Errors

We may correct an obvious typographical, technical or pricing error before accepting an order.

If an obvious pricing error is discovered, we will contact you and allow you to:

• Confirm the order at the correct price; or

• Cancel the order and receive a full refund.

We will not charge the corrected price without your express agreement.

8. Placing an Order

By clicking the final order button at checkout, you submit an offer to purchase the products in your cart at the price displayed.

Before submitting the order, you will have an opportunity to review and correct:

• Quantities;

• Delivery address;

• Billing information;

• Payment method; and

• Total order price.

After placing an order, we will send an electronic acknowledgment to the email address provided.

An automated order acknowledgment confirms receipt of your order. It does not necessarily constitute acceptance of the order.

9. Order Acceptance and Contract Formation

A purchase contract is formed when we expressly accept your order or dispatch the product and send you a dispatch confirmation, whichever occurs first.

• Cancellation and a full refund.

We will not replace an unavailable product without your consent.

11. Payment

You confirm that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.

We are not responsible for a payment provider declining a transaction, but an unpaid order will not be treated as completed.

Complete payment-card details are processed by authorized third-party payment providers and are not stored directly by us.

12. Cash on Delivery

If cash on delivery is available, you must ensure that someone is available at the delivery address to accept and pay for the parcel.

Repeatedly refusing cash-on-delivery orders without a legitimate reason may result in restrictions on future use of that payment method.

Any restriction will not affect existing statutory consumer rights.

13. Cancellation Before Dispatch

You may request cancellation before the order has been dispatched.

• A clear cancellation request.

If the order has not been dispatched, we will cancel it and refund all payments received.

If the order has already been dispatched, you may exercise your statutory right of withdrawal after receiving it.

14. Shipping to Hungary

We provide free standard shipping throughout Hungary.

The estimated delivery time is:

5–14 business days after processing and dispatch

Business days do not include weekends or public holidays.

Delivery may occasionally be affected by:

• Carrier delays;

• Severe weather;

• Public holidays;

• Customs or security inspections;

• Incorrect delivery details;

• Product availability;

• Lithium-battery transportation requirements;

• Transport disruption; or

• Other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Delivery estimates are not guaranteed delivery dates. We remain responsible for delivery in accordance with applicable consumer law.

15. Delivery Address

You must provide a complete and accurate delivery address.

Please check the following before placing an order:

• Recipient’s full name;

• Street and house number;

• Apartment, floor or door number, where applicable;

• Postal code;

• City;

• Country; and

• Contact details required by the carrier.

Contact us immediately if you discover an error.

We cannot guarantee that a delivery address can be changed after dispatch.

16. Risk of Loss or Damage

We remain responsible for the product until you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, physically receives it.

Please inspect the parcel after delivery.

If the parcel or product appears damaged, retain the packaging and contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

Your statutory rights are not affected if transport damage is not reported immediately.

17. Delayed or Failed Delivery

Where required by law, you may provide a reasonable additional delivery period.

If delivery is not completed within that additional period, you may be entitled to terminate the contract and receive a refund.

An additional period may not be required where:

• We refuse to deliver;

• Delivery by a specific date was essential and agreed before purchase; or

• Applicable law permits immediate termination.

18. Fourteen-Day Right of Withdrawal

Consumers purchasing products online generally have the right to withdraw from the purchase contract within 14 days after receiving the product, without providing a reason.

To exercise the right, you must send us a clear withdrawal statement before the withdrawal period expires.

You may exercise your withdrawal right by:

• An email address or another electronic communication method for confirmation.

After the withdrawal request is submitted, we will provide electronic confirmation containing the content of the withdrawal request and its date and time of receipt.

20. Returns and Refunds

Returns and refunds are governed by our Return and Refund Policy.

For a change-of-mind return under the statutory withdrawal right, the customer is responsible for the direct return shipping cost where the customer was informed of this obligation before purchasing.

For defective, damaged, incomplete or incorrect products, we will cover reasonable return costs where required by law.

Refunds will be made using the original payment method unless another method is expressly agreed and does not result in additional costs to the customer.

21. Legal Guarantee and Product Conformity

Products sold to consumers are covered by the mandatory legal guarantee and conformity rights provided by Hungarian and European Union law.

Products must:

• Match their description;

• Possess the agreed qualities and functions;

• Be suitable for their normal intended purpose;

• Include the promised accessories and instructions;

• Meet reasonable durability and safety expectations; and

• Comply with applicable product requirements.

If a product is defective or does not conform to the contract, you may be entitled to:

• A proportionate price reduction; or

• Termination of the contract and a refund.

The appropriate remedy depends on the circumstances and applicable law.

Any voluntary manufacturer’s warranty is additional to and does not replace statutory rights.

22. GPS, Sonar and Fish-Finder Performance

GPS, sonar and fish-finder performance may be affected by environmental and technical conditions, including:

• Satellite availability;

• Radio interference;

• Water depth;

• Water temperature;

• Underwater vegetation;

• Bottom composition;

• Waves;

• Weather;

• Nearby structures;

• Signal obstructions;

• Battery level;

• Incorrect installation; or

• Incorrect calibration.

The product is designed to assist recreational fishing activities.

It is not:

• Professional marine navigation equipment;

• Rescue equipment;

• Emergency communication equipment; or

• A substitute for personal supervision and safe operating practices.

No GPS or sonar system can guarantee fish detection, exact positioning or uninterrupted signal availability in every environment.

These practical limitations do not affect your statutory rights if the product fails to meet its advertised or agreed specifications.

23. Return-to-Home Function

The automatic return-to-home function is an assistance feature.

Before use, you should:

• Read the operating instructions;

• Set and verify the home point;

• Ensure adequate battery power;

• Test the feature in a safe area;

• Remain within the specified control range;

• Monitor weather and water conditions; and

• Maintain manual supervision of the boat.

Do not rely exclusively on the return-to-home function to prevent loss or damage.

This section does not exclude liability for a defective product or misleading product description.

24. Battery and Charging Safety

The product may contain rechargeable lithium batteries.

You must:

• Use only the supplied or approved charger;

• Follow the charging instructions;

• Keep batteries away from excessive heat, fire and moisture;

• Avoid puncturing, crushing or modifying batteries;

• Stop using a battery that is swollen, leaking or overheating;

• Store batteries safely and away from children;

• Avoid charging batteries on flammable surfaces; and

• Follow applicable battery disposal and recycling requirements.

Contact us before returning a damaged lithium battery because special transportation rules may apply.

25. Safe and Lawful Use

You are responsible for operating the product safely and in accordance with:

• The user manual;

• Hungarian fishing regulations;

• Local waterway restrictions;

• Environmental rules;

• Baiting restrictions;

• Radio-frequency requirements;

• Protected-area rules; and

• Other applicable laws.

You must not use the product:

• In prohibited waters;

• In dangerous weather;

• Near swimmers;

• Near moving vessels;

• For unauthorized surveillance;

• To invade another person’s privacy;

• To transport prohibited items;

• In a manner that harms wildlife or the environment; or

• For any unlawful purpose.

26. User Accounts

You may be able to create a customer account.

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate information;

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your password;

• Restricting access to your account; and

• Informing us promptly about suspected unauthorized access.

We may suspend or restrict an account where reasonably necessary to prevent:

• Fraud;

• Security threats;

• Abuse;

• Unauthorized access; or

• Unlawful activity.

We will explain the reason for a restriction where required by law.

For consumers, we are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable consequence of our breach of contract or failure to use reasonable care.

We are not responsible for loss caused solely by:

• Use contrary to the operating instructions;

• Unauthorized modification;

• Negligent handling;

• Illegal use;

• Normal wear and tear;

• External radio interference;

• Failure to maintain adequate battery power; or

• Circumstances for which the customer is legally responsible.

These limitations do not affect statutory rights concerning defective or non-conforming products.

35. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control

We are not responsible for delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, including:

• Natural disasters;

• Severe weather;

• War or civil unrest;

• Government restrictions;

• Transport disruption;

• Carrier interruption;

• Widespread telecommunications failure;

• Epidemics;

• Strikes;

• Import or export restrictions; or

• Other force-majeure events.

We will take reasonable steps to reduce the effects of the delay and notify affected customers where appropriate.

If a substantial delay continues, you may have the right to terminate the contract and receive a refund under applicable law.

We encourage customers to contact us first so that we can attempt to resolve the matter directly.

Consumers may also have the right to contact:

• A competent Hungarian consumer-protection authority;

• A Hungarian conciliation body;

• The European Consumer Centre in Hungary; or

• Another competent alternative dispute-resolution body.

The former European Commission Online Dispute Resolution platform was discontinued in 2025 and is therefore not included in these Terms.

Using an alternative dispute-resolution procedure does not remove your right to seek a remedy through a competent court.

38. Governing Law

These Terms and contracts formed through the website are governed by the law applicable to the seller’s place of establishment, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules.

If you are a consumer habitually resident in Hungary, this choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory protections provided by Hungarian or European Union law.

39. Jurisdiction

Disputes may be brought before the courts having jurisdiction under applicable consumer and procedural law.

Nothing in these Terms requires a Hungarian consumer to bring proceedings exclusively before a foreign court where such a requirement would be prohibited by law.

40. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in:

• Applicable law;

• Store operations;

• Products;

• Payment methods;

• Delivery arrangements;

• Return procedures; or

• Website functionality.

Updated Terms apply from the date they are published.

Changes will not retroactively reduce rights under an order already accepted unless required by law or expressly agreed with the customer.

• Shipping Policy; and

• Return and Refund Policy,

form the agreement between you and us concerning your order.

Mandatory consumer rights and written individual agreements remain unaffected.
